Ground Mounted Solar
Engineered for decades of performance
Certified panels with Solarport mounting and full structural/load calculations. In most cases our x-anchor foundations avoid concrete entirely—delivering faster, cleaner installs with minimal land impact. We orient arrays for maximum yield, handle site prep, trenching and reinstatement, and build to withstand UK wind/snow zones for the long term.

Your solar solution
We pair certified PV modules with Solarport mounting and x-anchor foundations that avoid concrete in most cases—delivering faster installs with minimal soil disturbance and easy reinstatement. Every array is orientation-optimised for maximum yield and built to UK wind/snow zones with documented structural and load calculations. We handle site preparation, trenching and cable runs (plus optional fencing), then commission monitoring so you can track performance from day one.
The Benefits
01
A complete, safety-first solar platform built for decades of service, with UK wind/snow-zone compliance, corrosion-resistant hardware and serviceable cable routes. We document everything for longevity—monitoring readiness plus workmanship/warranty paperwork to support future maintenance.
02
We specify high-efficiency, fully certified PV modules (Aiko, Jinko, REC) on Solarport mounting that meets MCS/IEC standards. Every array includes documented structural and load calculations and full electrical compliance testing, giving you insurer-friendly, audit-ready records.
03
Our x-anchor foundations avoid concrete in most cases, reducing lorry movements, soil disturbance and mess while delivering a rigid, long-life base. We handle site prep, trenching and reinstatement so the land is left tidy and the install is completed quickly and cleanly.
04
We optimise orientation, row spacing and tilt for maximum yield, with options for fencing, livestock access and security. Systems are sized around your usage and budget with headroom for batteries, EV charging and future expansion as needs grow.
Common questions
Do I need planning permission for a ground array?
Often not for small, low-height arrays, but rules vary by site, height, conservation areas and AONBs. We check the position/height, advise on permitted development, and handle any planning application if needed.
How much land do I need?
As a rule of thumb, allow 8–12 m² per kW once panel spacing and access are included. A 6 kW array typically needs 50–75 m²; a 10 kW array 80–120 m². We’ll confirm based on layout, tilt and row spacing.
Will you pour concrete?
Usually no. Our Solarport x-anchor foundations avoid concrete in most cases, meaning faster installs, fewer lorry movements and minimal soil disturbance. For very rocky/soft ground we’ll pre-drill or specify alternative footings.
What does it cost and how long does it take?
Most domestic/farm ground-mounts land around £8,000–£18,000 for 5–10 kW, with batteries extra. Typical on-site time is 1–3 days plus trenching/reinstatement; larger fields or long cable runs may add time.
How are cabling and connections handled?
We design and dig the trenching, size cables to minimise voltage drop, and connect to your plant room/inverter & batteries. Systems can be off-grid or grid-connected with export, and we commission monitoring so you can track performance from day one.
