Wind Power Systems
Systems engineered for decades of performance
We install British-made FuturEnergy micro turbines on engineered, UK wind-loading–compliant masts with certified foundations and overspeed/brake protection. After a site survey to find clean airflow, we integrate the turbine with Victron controls so winter winds keep your batteries topped and power steady, day and night.

Your wind solution
Peace of mind from the wind: certified turbines, engineered masts and structural calculations delivering quiet, reliable, year-round off-grid power.
The Benefits
What will you be gaining?
01
Systems engineered to last in real weather
An off-grid wind setup built for decades of service, with UK wind-loading compliance, certified mast foundations, corrosion-resistant hardware and overspeed/brake protection. We provide monitoring readiness and full workmanship/warranty documentation to support future maintenance.
02
Certified quality and safety from mast to inverter
We specify British-made FuturEnergy turbines with structurally calculated, tilt-up or guyed masts and diversion-load protection, all tested to MCS/IEC principles. Every installation includes documented structural and electrical compliance, giving you insurer-friendly, audit-ready paperwork.
03
Clean-air siting for predictable output
Performance depends on airflow, so we survey the site, model wind resource and avoid turbulence from buildings and trees. Mast height and placement are optimised for yield and cable routes are planned for minimal voltage drop—delivering steadier, quieter generation.
04
Smart integration that cuts generator hours
Integrated Victron control prioritises wind input, charges batteries through winter nights and smooths gusty conditions for a stable supply. Remote monitoring, event alerts and optional service plans keep running costs low and performance consistently high.

Common questions
We're here to answer your questions
Do I need planning permission for a micro turbine?
Often yes. Mast height, location and local designations (AONB, conservation) usually require consent. We advise on constraints, provide drawings/calcs, and can manage the application.
How much power will I get from a turbine?
Output depends mainly on average wind speed at mast height and clean airflow. We survey the site, model yield (wind speed cubed has a big effect), and size the turbine/mast to give realistic winter-biased kWh.
Are micro turbines noisy?
Modern units are quiet in clean, laminar airflow. Careful siting, mast isolation and correct blade speed keep sound low; most perceived noise issues come from turbulence, which we avoid in design.
What about storms and maintenance?
Systems include brake switching and overspeed protection; masts and foundations are engineered to UK wind-loading standards. Expect an annual inspection (bearings/bolts/electrical checks) and remote monitoring for alerts.
How much space, cost and time should I allow?
Typical masts are 6–15 m with safe setbacks from buildings/boundaries and a cable route to the plant room. Turnkey installs commonly fall in the £8k–£20k range depending on mast/foundations and cabling; on-site work is usually 1–3 days once permissions and foundations are in place. All systems are integrated with Victron to charge batteries and smooth supply.
